Take a Skywalk with Paragliding: View the Scattered Villages from a Bird’s-Eye Perspective

となみ野パラグライダースクール

Experience paragliding from the 1,000-meter-high Tsukubane Mountain, flying down to the 400-meter lower elevation of Harayama Ranch. From the sky, enjoy breathtaking views of the Tonami Plain’s scattered village, the mystical Nawa-no-Ike pond that never runs dry, the sacred peak of Mount Iozen ahead, and even the distant Toyama Bay.

You’ll fly in a tandem paraglider (two-seater) controlled by an experienced pilot, so beginners and people of all ages can enjoy the experience with peace of mind.

The scenery and sensations are completely different when you’re in the air compared to on the ground. Flying in harmony with the wind, from a bird’s-eye view, offers a truly awe-inspiring experience.

Especially striking is the view of the sankyoson ‘scattered villages’ right beneath you. You’ll get to feel the beauty of this landscape that has developed over more than 500 years through the collaboration of people and nature in Toyama.
