The first floor of Moritosha is a cafe, gift shop, and hall which are open to anyone, even those not staying at the hotel. At the cafe, you can enjoy a menu rich in local flavor served on Mingei tableware. The hall, filled with timeless beauty, can also be used as an extension of the cafe. The gift shop contains a variety of Mingei vessels, fabrics, and local products specially selected by Moritosha. Please feel free to drop by and discover beautiful items and delicious food that will enrich your life.
We offer a breakfast which mainly consists of local traditional fermented and preserved foods such as nare-zushi (fermented sushi) and tsukemono pickles. Please enjoy this “Mingei-style” breakfast which has developed in the climate of the area and is eaten on an everyday basis by local people.

Anyone can come enjoy a drink at Moritosha during cafe time. We offer lunch, light bites, desserts, and drinks made with local ingredients and served on Mingei tableware.
We have assembled a variety of Mingei items specially selected for Moritosha including Okinawan Yachimun ceramics and antique painted plates. We also sell local fermented and preserved foods, Daimon somen noodles and Himi udon which make great souvenirs.
